Forgot to say the photos were taken last Christmas. We don't decorate in Sept. for Christmas.

Lou,

Beautiful front entrance! Is that paint on the porch pillars? I love that look. Much better than white everywhere. And all the color in the garden is beautiful.

And whats wrong with Christmas decorations in September?!??!?!?!?

One of my neighbors in Bokeelia has a decorated Christmas tree up THE ENTIRE YEAR. Eevry single night, she can be seen sitting in the same chair next to the deocrated and lighted tree, knitting for hours.

Yep those are wooden posts and there are six of them. Takes awhile to finish. It requires some patience but we paint them in the fall and winter and enjoy being on the porch anyway. My wife likes changing the colors up. We have painted them several times over the years. I can see all my palms in the front yard from the porch swing.
