I have about 15 pounds of the black pumice stuff that palms are often grown in, at nurseries/growers - I really don't use it, because it is too fast-draining to be effective in my plant house (Dries out too fast.) What are some other uses for this stuff? I hate to just dump it, if it has some purpose that I'm missing?

Or, does somebody want it ? (Flat rate box) Not sure it's even worth it. Have no idea what this stuff costs to buy.

I don't know if it can be used in aquariums with fish? I have no clue what chemicals may have been used in watering the plants in the original pots with this stuff?

(It's in a container, and it takes up the dimensions : 1' x 1' x 5 inches deep, for those who care to know.)

I use stuff like that to ammend my potting soil for plants that appreciate it a bit drier or require perfect drainage.

Mix it in with your potting soil, don't toss it.
