Good morning,

Every European palm enthousiast knows the website canarius.

Since a few months this webstite does not answer to mail enquiries.

Do you know if it is still in the buisness or if it is closed now ?

Before ordering I want to be sure my money will not be burnt in the Canary islands volcanoes.... :D

Thanks for help,

Phil

Bonjour Philippe,

J'ai acheté des bromeliacees sur ce site il y a 2 semaines, impeccable.

I bought them some bromeliads 2 weeks ago, everything was ok.

Just received a Cryosophila guagara,Dypsis pinnatifrons and a Lepidozamia hopei 10 days ago

They are very busy with a tsunami of spring orders so keep on trying, their plants are the biggest you can get in the EU

I wrote to them too and they did replied once. Second time, they didn't. As far as I know, they are going on a break around June 11th.

I too have ordered palms recently, with no problems with the order, in fact they actually sent me a free palm for being a loyal customer; a rather nice Hyophorbe lagenicaulis, which was a nice touch.

I believe some of the other EPS members have also had freebies included with their orders as well. Marcus is a very busy man but I'm sure he will get back to you eventually.

Quite often they take these breaks and normally you will get a email saying that they will be closed untill such and such a date. Hope this helps.

Regards Andy.:D
