jurassic crown of "unlabeled" dypsis giant at Lyon Arbor., Oahu Hawaii

There are some of the coolest "jurassic" dypsis out there at Lyon, huge. I was

only guessing on what they were. Felt like I was in natural habitat. My guess on

a few, Dypsis Pembana , Dypsis sp. White, Dypsis tokoravina. Dypsis madagascariensis solitary,

Beccariohoenix windows and non, in many ages of development. I will take pics of the Dypsis

next time

Hi Ari, that Asper is easy 10 yrs old but by 5 yrs if its in a great spot which this one is by the creek,the culms will be very sizeable. Thanks for comments we LOVE where we live. Regards Pete
