Incredible! He is certainly smoking something!

Although I did have someone offer me $1400 for my 2 coconuts a few years back. They each have a nice curve thanks to 2 hurricanes. I declined but was worried while we were on vacation that I would come home and find 2 big holes in the ground!

I dont think he is daft, I think he is just a little fraudulent , he knows very well the value of these palms but by making an enormous buy it now price together with a 'best offer' option he is hoping to con some poor person who doesnt know true value into making a high offer, thinking they will be gaining a bargain.

Isn't that the idea of ebay? Besides, anybody who is willing to pay $80,000 for queen palms or any other palm for that matter deserves to pay that much. same thing as a babe ruth rookie baseball card. something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
