You got that right! I don't feel bad about cutting down a few Queens. I love the Royal Cuban Palms.

I like them too...I just don't have the room for a palm the size of the Washington Monument...

Nooooo! Why?

Had my Royal removed a few weeks ago.

People do stupid things with royals, oh this cute little palm will be so nice next to my porch, then the monster starts dropping fronds and they have to have it removed. If you don't have the space don't plant a royal and don't think you can get the fronds before they drop, sooner or later that's just not feasible.

Dry that wood and it makes geat looking flooring--you can always tell the peppered look of royal palm wood. nice.

Larry, The guys had said $450 back in Dec. they came by in Feb and said they would do it for $250. That also included the stump removal and the removal of the large B.O.P.

What was the reason why you chopped down the Royal? Does the stumps make good firewood?
