Is there anything more expensive than a nice greenhouse? Heck, even the not so nice ones are pretty costly, but they do allow one to ignore their zone...

Shadehouses are nice and not as pricey as a comparable greenhouse. They provide protection from frost, and severe winds, but which is best?

I think it's more of an issue of locale... I bet the folks at MOBOT would love to be able to have shadehouses to nurse that Lodoicea seedling...

They have two different purposes so it's not a case of which is better. You want to propagate plants and keep some tropical ones ? greenhouse. You want to keep plants out of the sun ? shadehouse.

Happy Gardening
