So I was watching House Hunters International on HGTV and perusing PalmTalk when HHI ended and "The Vanilla Ice Project" came on....I was about to change the channel so as not to be tortured by Mr. Van Winkles antics when he said he was going to be touring West Palm Beach for landscaping inspiration on his flipping project in the area.

This is when the fun began. Old Mangnum V.I. was going on about Phoenix rupicolas (that were really dactyliferas) and what an expert he is on his landscaping. He went on to say that any palm will die by the time it reaches 30 years old! Now I'm no coconut expert, but V Ice said that any C. nucifera that does not have at least five healthy/green fronds on it is a goner and needs to be removed.

Quite humorous - but my oh my what a number the former owners of this place did on the inside - :violin:. I'm not recommending other than to hear what the former rapper turned horticulturist has to say/butcher along the way.

Vanilla Ice is a goner in this video - at least he pretends to be.

I stumbled across his show once. Almost broke my finger trying to change the channel as fast as I could. What a maroon well past his 15 minutes.

Jerry I thought you were having a go at Wals favourite footy team  but a quick google reminded me of good ol Bugs Bunny ...

'what a maroon !'

A malapropism and favorite expression of Bugs Bunny, after outwitting Elmer Fudd. Usually uttered by Bugs this while walking away and wiping his hands in satisfaction. The joke of course is that Bugs mispronounces "moron."]

How quick we forget words of wisdom uttered by our childhood heroes

'sorry about that chief'
