I took a few photos of my white triangle in the rain today. Looks like it's just about ready to form some trunk. Probably the fastest palm I have, along with my teddy x triangle:

Strange technicolour in the pics, what sort of camera was used may I ask ?

Wonderful palms by the way, it seems that hybrids grow faster than the parents in my experience.

Thanks everyone. Ari, the next round of planting will have to wait until the spring. No idea where I'm going to fit in those plants though. And Wal, I used a Canon 1ds Mark 3 and a Nikon D40 for the photos. Colours are from Mother Nature as it had just rained and everything was saturated.

Wow Peter! Those have really grown, I remember when we picked those up in your van. Don't think they would fit in there anymore.

Great looking garden Peter! The palms are beautiful. The color saturation reminds me of your post a ways back taken at the Huntington I think.

Hi,

I know this palm you call white triangle. Do you know it is a cross between Dypsis Decary and Dypsis lutescens ? In which case the shoot at the base and a mix color decary and lutescens.

Regards.

Yours are growing great Peter. Love the color of the TedTri cross when wet.

Here are mine. The 'White Tri' is one the fastest Dypsis I have. The burn was from the 105 we hit this fall. All the leaves from this year were fine.

Here is my TedTri. This is one I got my friend in Fl 4 years ago as a 3 gallon. I planted it the spring I received it and it has grown very fast. It has adult leaves now and three rings of trunk.

I have been after a red triangle for over a decade with no success. I can get white triangles but they usually dont stay single and yes, I still hate clumping palms. All the above photos are great and just add to the longing for a red tri.

I got it as a very large 7 gal. potted it into a 15 right away. Then put in the ground a year later? Been in the ground less than 2 years I think...
