Hi Barbara & cousin! That's a very nice hybrid Phoenix palm there. Sure appears to be a P. roebellini cross but with what exactly I'm not going to guess.

Did you grab a few seeds Gileno?

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

 

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).  

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Don, the other Museum next door (Museu da Língua Portuguesa) is also fantastic, a very modern one, located at the old rail station Luz.

Alt:1030m. Native palms: Queen, B. eriospatha, B. microspadix, Allagoptera leucocalyx , A.campestris, Geonoma schottiana, Trithrinax acanthocoma. Subtr. climate, some frosty nights. No dry season. August: driest month. Rain:1700mm

In spite of being a terribly crowded metropolis with 19 million people jammed inside its borders, SP still has some nice nature refuges. I wish I had taken picures of the big Ibirapuera Park too, with the early landscape design by Burle Marx and now the green heart of the city.

Looks like 90% Robellini, it is not impossible that pure Robellinis grow that tall, but the trunk looks a little too thick.
