I haven't posted in a long while, and was inspired by Jeff (Jeff in Costa Rica) and Bren (JungleGalFL). Both were here for a quick PRA to see the garden and take a walk. An early fall Sunday morning, just as the sun was rising was the perfect motivation. Enjoy!

Rick, Looking forward to some more pics.

Be aware that the total amount of your post cannot exceed 2MB. Perhaps you are attempting to upload too many photos in one post.

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.

Great pictures. But you need to brew your coffee a little stronger. :-)

The complexity of layers in your garden is very pleasing to the eye. Nice place for a garden stroll!

I was in awe, those pics don't do it justice. Rick you've done an incredible job! I got some great inspiration out of that tour. Even planted that Syagrus stenopetala yesterday. :)

What great palms you have Rick. Thanks to you, I tried my primitive skills making a tiki...here's my first attempt with the very fibrous coconut palm. It needs to be tweaked a bit...maybe painted if it's not too Disney.

I've had the pleasure of watching Rick's garden grow from start to now. It's one of the most fantastic gardens on Earth. It's like Fairchild on steroids. Photos don't do it justice, as you have to see it to really appreciate it. The Middle river behind his house, his dock, the multimillion houses across the water, the Manatees breaking the water, etc. It really is paradise. Sitting on his dock, a cup of hot coffee, watching the sun come up over the Atlantic, the puffy clouds over the gulf stream, bright orange, Venus in the early morning sky, an experience I will never forget.

Your garden looks breathtaking - even in photos; it must be incredible in person. No wonder everyone is calling it paradise. I would love to know what all of the palms are; if you have the time to let us know.

Ricks garden is fantastic! Definitely one of the best I have ever seen. Everytime I walked around I saw something new that I missed before. The croton collection alone is amazing, not to mention all the incredible palms! I took a TON of photos at his place and will be posting them soon.

Rick, thanks for being such a great host!

Absolutely gorgeous. Any chance you could ID some of your beautiful palms for those of us that are still germinating rookies. :)

Hey guys....for some reason I am still having trouble uploading photos. I am NOT tech savvy, but trying to figure out why the photos just sit loading for minutes on end...even individually.

Once I figure out what the problem is, I will make a more extensive posting with ID's.
