Southern California Tri county PRA!

Featured Replies

Last weekend on saturday morning I left my house in Corona, Riverside county to go on a two day PRA!

My first destination is (surf city)Huntington Beach, Orange County. The gardener chooses to remain private. The couple that lives there wanted to let all of you see his efforts! His wife said he's plant crazy and she doesn't mind it a bit.

With this thread there are going to be lots of pics posted. I would like to ask of you to please not post while I am posting. I will let you know on my last post when I am done for the moment. Also if you wouldn't multi quote any post with pics in it. It will take me a few trips to the computer to complete this thread. Click on the pics to enlarge them.

This trip to the computer will be brief as I have things to do.

The start: post-1270-12807635925621_thumb.jpg

I know almost nothing about frost tender palms! Feel free to ID palms.

These are front yard pics;

Calvin's garden is one acre and has a nice slope. It's in Vista. He has a number of large plants creating nice canopy. A concrete pathway meanders thru the garden. He built two observation decks (unfortunately no pic of the backyard oneblink.gif ) that overlook the palms from above!
