We have healthy Hemithrinax ekmaniana in 3 gal. pots for $125.00 ea. These are from seeds collected in 2007 from habitat in Cuba. They are a whopping 4 inches tall and have a well established root system.

Available for local pick up only at Caribbean Palms Nursery, 1584 F Road, Loxahatchee, FL.

I've seen them in person and they are big and beautiful (for a Hemithrinax anyway).

Hi David,

Yes, I have them available at the nursery.

They require fast draining soil and fairly bright light at this stage. Mine have been growing on benches in my greenhouse and have done well over the summer.

Sorry I didnt come by. Did you still have these palms available? I am probably going back to Florida in May.

They've grown well here so far. These little guys can take the kind of winter we had last year with only minor damage.

I am not in Tampa anymore. I am in Korea now. Yeah. I miss Florida. I wouldnt take any chances with them out in the freezing weather. They are to expensive and slow growing. which means taking them to long time to recover. Also being small they are easy to cover.

I know that you stipulated local pickup only - no chance of sending a few to Texas??? Just throw em in a box and stuff it full of packing chips. I've had no probems receiving small stuff from Florida in the past.
