Phoenix reclinata hybrid in zone 8b-Arizona

I came across this palm last week in Sierra Vista, AZ (zone8b). It appears to be a Phoenix reclinata hybrid, possibly with P. dactylifera. It had cold damage on the fronds.

It does appear to be reclinata , but what is that monster on the left ?? It seems to be a sabal of some sort grafted onto the trunk of a jubaea

Yep, your basic pure-bred Washie filly, in the cold-filtered clime. No W. robusta mutts here . . . .:D:lol:

Next time you are in SV, it is on Foothills Dr. a few blocks west of hwy 92, there is an elementary school across the street. That yard also has a large Yucca brevifolia, Joshu Tree.
