The leaf of a mystery Dypsis that I gave Margaret a few years ago. The seed was labelled as D.tsaravoasira, and were only 5mm diameter. It has grown into something does looks totally different and has a twist to the leaves. Looks like it will be a large palm...

As Daryl pointed out earlier this is in fact Coccothrinax parviflora. I wonder if you can make wine from this fruit, sure look like grapes. :winkie:

I didn´t realize that leptocheilos could grow in a shady spot in the middle of the forest :hmm: . Maybe i should move mine as it would have more protacting there. Any thoughts? Jason

thanks for the photos. I enjoyed it while I sipped coffee early this sunday morning. Now I feel the need to go out and plant more palms and bromeliads...with closer spacing!
