Bo's Branching Out

Featured Replies

While driving by over the weekend on Oahu, we snapped this with the iPhone.

Seems as if Bo has been sneaking off the Big Island to pursue other interests.

Bo, I am shocked. You have been cheating on palms this whole time, and with Hawaiian food? How long did you think you could get away with this for? I'm not mad, just disappointed

At first I thought all of you guys were kidding but maybe not.

If you zoom way in on the resturant pic, the white papers(daily menus?),taped to the window just above the mailbox, have a couple of odd words on them:

Note: Question marks for letters I can't make out....You can sorta see "Berge?s Fiskesuppe" and "Torsk m?e Eggesaus" and maybe "riskim" (or "riskin")?

Don't know what all that means but I do know that tomorrow is a very special day.

Good try, guys, but you're bit off here! OldNed, if that were indeed me running this little interesting joint, it would be in Swedish, not Norwegian!

And Kim, nope, I don't have enough of those squeeze tubes to share! Except with very special guests! :mrlooney:

I see you've done your research! Very impressed! Actually, Oslo is one of my favorite cities. Lived and worked there many years ago. Plus, my first wife was from Finnmark, Norway - all the way up north, about 300 miles north of the Arctic Circle. So Norway is indeed like a second home to me. Or would that be third? Losing track here! :D
