Hi Kris, After soaking seeds for 3 days I put them in baggies with coconut coir,then placed them on top of my water heater,12 days later we have success:):):):):)

Way to go, Don! Always good to see new palm life after the winter we've had.

I didn't post the pics but in the same amount of time I got 58 trachycarpus Fortunei to pop also, it's gonna be a good summer.

I am germinating like crazy on my end as well! Dates when they wanna grow dont waste any time! Ive sown some PP. Dacty varieties recently, it took about 2 weeks like you.

I medjool from a store bought date that is pushing above soil only after a month or so.
