i heard one of the national talk show hosts talking about the tsunami this morning & the way in which he disdains scientists & science in general is quite worrisome.

the "prince of snarkness."

Agree! It is insane to not take precautions when a catastrophic earthquake occurs out in the ocean. The 2004 disaster in Thailand is a sobering lesson to take seriously any tsunami warning.
