Who wouldn't want to have an ocean view like this?

One of the waterfalls.  The other one was going over a sheer cliff to the ocean.

Last one of the set.   A green jade.  By the way, the original photos are 1MB+ in size.   I'm using photobucket to upload the photos and then copy them back to my pc.   The file sizes seem to cluster around 50kb with the e-mail option and 170 to 200kb with the message board option.   Any ideas on how to get them closer to the magic 112kb size?

Bob,

Looks like you had a great trip! I hope someone can help you out with the size (I don't know enough myself...). Most of the palms in Post #3 look like Clinostigma samoense.

Incidentally, I'm very familiar with your area. Back in the early 90s when we lived in Poway I went out for a morning run every single day, and I knew just about all the streets and canyons, not just in Poway but also in R.B. and Penasquitos, including Black Mountain (which had some great trails!!).

Bob,

If your pics are already uploaded to photobucket, you can link directly, and use the 170-200 kb sizes. It makes for nice pics. Check under the FAQs. There is a topic about posting pics there. Hope this helps.

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.

Fantastic photos. Looks like it was a great trip. Those ocean shots are amazing. The color saturation levels are as good as its going to get.
