The Palm Beach Post reports that if Winter ended today, the average temperature recorded at PBIA would be 64.3F. This is based upon the fact that most forecasters define Winter as Dec.-Feb.Accordingly, that would make it the 11th coldest Winter since record keeping began in 1888.This assumes an average remainder for Feb.I do not know about you but I am ready for this to be over.

The story goes on to say that this is the coldest Winter since 1981.The average for Dec/2009 was 70.8F; the average for Jan/2010 was 60.6F and the the average through Feb.15, 2010 was 61.5F.The coldest ever Dec.-Feb. period occurred in 1957/58 with a three month average of 61.6F.Accordingly, if it finally starts to heat up, we may end up kicked out of 11th. If it cools way down, who knows? It certainly seems alot colder but my blood is thin.
