worm castings good for palms ?

anyone here use or have info on worm castings (worm poop) with palms ?

if so how much to use, how often to add new coating, and any other info....

Worm castings are great stuff! Don't use it in your pots because it'll create muck at the bottom. But put as much as you can afford around your plants. The cheaper route is to mulch heavily and let your native worms make the castings for you.

You took the words out of my mouth. Worms castings are much better made by your own worms that will aerate and losen your soil while making them the castings for free. All it takes is nice thick mulch.

I do not believe I have ever noticed an unthrifty palm where worms were found in the soil!!!
