A friend of a friend snapped this image in Dana Point. The quality isn't that great but I figured it was palmy enough to share here.

I hope everyone in CA is starting to dry out a bit. We have received about 8" and counting here in the foothills behind Carpinteria.

Wow...cool. Is that a real, natural waterfall or a "we've have had too much rain and look what's happening in my backyard waterfall"?

Thats a 'too much rain' waterfall. Wow! Pretty sure thats in the harbor around the where it bends towards to the Ocean Institute. I think at the top of the left of the waterfall is the blue lantern inn. Way back in the old days fur trappers would throw their furs off that cliff to the sailors waiting down below, who would load them onto the ships.

That would be nice in a backyard if it was controlled. That gives me an idea...
