I brought a Chamaedorea angustisecta for the auction. It fetched $40. These are very rare and Jeff Searle collected these seeds in habitat in Peru.

A few of us went back to my place afterwards. It was a small group, perfect for chilling and talking. It was nice to meet Dave H from La Quinta. La Habra Dave was there and Jack & Lindsay the Hoagies! later skater. :)

Great coverage Matt! Wish I coulda stayed a little longer and then make it to your place!

Rene' is a crack-up. I really enjoyed his presentation.

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Yeah, that's me ducking behind the flowers. In line I'm the one with the loud jacket. :rolleyes: It was a full room, no empty seats. The talk was entertaining and the photos of Cuba and the Seychelles nicely done, lots of habitat shots.

Thanks for those beautiful visuals,and the food served seem to be mouth watering ! The location is fentastic,your T-shirt made to order looks very apt for the occasion.And your photography is stunning.
