Took this shot this morning from my garage roof, this is an amazing palm, the Dictyosperma album var rubrum. I thought the red leaves would stop but this is not the case as evidenced here.

Hi Wal

The first one of these that I had growen from seedling reached a trunk size of 8 to 10 inches in circumference and from unknown causes died. The other one a few years later died from what I expect cold, it was still a seedling. They are reportedly cold sensitive but I would of expected less so than the coconut palm, and given its size and several winters with little spotting, past the so called danger zone. Maybe third time lucky.

Yours look healthy enough.
