There are some palms. However, I only like the jube, CIDP, and nice date palms in the front. This is not a great palm destination, but at least there are some.

When it was Cypress Gardens, they had one heck of a garden there.  Aside from the palms, the ficus benghalensis stole the show.

I think the original post was referring to the Legoland in Carlsbad California, as the poster was from San Marcos, which is just east.  Despite the fact that it's right across the valley from my Carlsbad house, and we watched the summer fireworks from our house, I haven't been since it first opened (1999) and my son's were young.  So I can't weigh in on what types of palms they have now or even back in 2009.  The Florida Legoland didn't open until 2 years after the original posts from 2009, opening in 2011, so couldn't have been the original posts reference.  Maybe someone with young kids from California has been and can give an update.  If I recall correctly someone who used to work at Rancho Soledad Nursery has been involved with Legoland Carlsbad's landscaping for several years now.

The king palms there are beefy!  I know they have a few of the "Super Parrots" or "Coconut Queens" around as well as some huge Caryota gigas.  If I remember correctly I think they have a few Dypsis lanceolatas and baroniis too, over all I thought they had a fairly interesting selection when I was there last (few years ago).
