Howdyall:

Saw this and thought it was worth sharing.

The world's largest saltwater pool, big enough for sail boats, on the coast of Chile, with look like Jubes in the man-made beaches. . . .

Kind of a waste.... a saltwater fake beach at the beach. I like the indoor beach(oceandome) in Japan with a wave you can get barreled in, but I think it may have closed down.

I saw the show today. The explanation was that the combination of large waves and cold water temperatures made the ocean itself unpalatable for most folks, therefore the ocean sized pool.

We could use one of those pools (complete with Jubes) here in So Cal, where the ocean is cold most of the time. And the waves are much too gnarly for my taste . . .

The waster is just bearable in the summer here, though it can be much much warmer in sheltered bays, like Long Beach or Dana Point.

Those waves . . . . MOMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ! ! !
