could possibly be a foxy lady or possibly just a vietcha. there are also some nice sized royals, rhopalostylis and raveneas there too. saw them not to long ago seem to be growing pretty well

I don't believe those palms are Caryota gigas. The trunk of these palms are much thinner and the leaves have a different look. I have adored those too.

Palms are life, the rest is details.

thos are the royals and in the same parking lot are a handful of rhopalostylis sapidas and a couple dypsis leptochielos

I heard the leptochielos died one winter within the last few years. It was sudden and unexpected.

My Veitchia montgomeri's have the same black around the crownshaft.

Some of the frond on the fishtails were supported by ties to the trunk to keep from getting in the walkway. Anyone know what variety they are?

These Caryotas look lovely, and so does the Howea...

Could be C. obtusa... or maybe Caryota no?
