I remember this wonderful website that had palms for wholesale and also had really good prices for single palm sale. All of a sudden their website just went down ages ago. I was wondering if anybody knew of this place. I think they were in Homestead Florida, and I vaguely remember something about a hurricane or something. Anybody know exactly what happened to it? And who may have owned the nursery? Do they belong/post here at IPS? Thanks.

Zachary,

That nursery still exists to the best of my knowledge. I think they shortened the name and are just Botanics Wholesale or something like that. They are ONLY wholesale and i don't know if they ever post or advertise on IPS.

Sorry I don't have more info but here is their web site: http://www.botanics.com/default.htm

Good luck.

Actually it was a retail/mail-order arm of redland nursery, which is a large wholesale grower in homestead. They just closed the online/retail arm one day and never reopened it. They did have high quality plants at good prices but sometimes things were misidentified...still trying to figure it four years later what my seedling trachy 'latisectus' really are...Since they are definitely not that!

Thanks Michael

Perhaps a pic of your mysterious palm. I bought palms from them on many different occasions and was never dissatisfied. They would even ship large palms to California. One of the very few ways I was able to get a 15 gallon coconut to California. They also had some pretty good prices. It looks like whoever owns it is a member of the IPS? Wonder if he posts here.

Thanks again.
