Trachycarpus fortunei - this is my love No 1 - I brought a "strange looking grass" from China 2001 (I've never before seen a plam-seedling :winkie:) .... and this is my forst palm now:

You are doing a fantastic job over there. My father was born in Tann, across the river from you, in Germany, and I have been there many times. Beautiful part of the world. Thinking about your location makes my mouth water for some Schnitzel and locally made Bier.

It is relatively easy to grow palms in Hawaii, Florida or California. But Austria! I commend you!
