I used to vary a while back, but in the last couple of years I have no longer found a reason to use anything but Google.

In my post I sometimes express "my" opinion. Warning, it may differ from "your" opinion. If so, please do not feel insulted, just state your own if you wish. Google is used 80% of the time for business purposes

Yahoo and google are very close when u do a web search, When u do a image search alot of "flicker" photos come up the first few pages on yahoo. When i look for a pic of a plam google comes up with better pics.

For me, it's www.dogpile.com because they have them all, poop, whatever . . .

dogpile sometimes gives you too much, but I've found that's better than too little. Plus, it eliminates, at least partially, the proprietary problem.

AOL simply didn't do searches that wouldn't come up with stuff they wanted you to have, or so it seemed.

I notice that no one uses it . . . .

I'm a big fan of Dogpile since it searches google, yahoo and others at the same time.

I think that almost nobody is using MSN in europe.

Anyone use GoodSearch? It is powered by Yahoo and supposedly donates a certain amount to a charity you designate every time you do a search.

I found out about it in a newsletter from Save the Chimps, a chimpanzee rescue refuge here in FL

Never heard of it, very cool! Thanks for sharing this resource! I'll definately pass this on to a couple non-profits that may be able to use it...

I like Google because when you search for "hardy palms," my site is first in the list, and when you click "I'm feeling lucky," my site is returned. :greenthumb:

Kostas that is something else. MSN messager (windows live messanger) which is part of windows, has nothing to do with msn web search engine.

Google for me since day one. That would be 18th December 2001. Seven years ago. Good grief. Still got the same mouse, too. It has dents where you fingers go.

I have used various search engines in the past. I started with Excite, then switched to Lycos, then Yahoo. I still use others on occasions, but it's almost always Google now, because they find far more results than the other engines, at least for the things I search for.

Simona,

In my opinion it is bored teenagers fantasising about being rich, and sniggering at the thought of other people getting their hopes up.
