My girlfriend Corrie and I have been lucky enough to go to Hawaii twice this year and what a great experience it was on both ocassions. Here's a quick tour around the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden just outside of Hilo.

Nick, What an awesome place. I was there last year for the first time and it was 2 of the best hours of my life. While not super palm species rich the Gingers and Heliconias were knockouts! Were going out in a couple of weeks and I'm going to have to hit it up again :) .

Urban Rainforest Palms,Cycads and Exotics. Were in San Diego Ca. about 5 miles from the beach on Tecolote canyon. It seems to be an ideal growing climate with moderate temps. and very little frost. Vacation Rental in Leilani Estates, big island Hi PM me if interested in staying there.
