It's on the back of your Dollar Bill and shows that the founders took it quite seriously. The depth of symbolism is disarming. To the left is the Pyramid;why the Pyramid?Do we have any Pyramids in the US?

When you count the number of ranges on the Pyramid, you find 13.This is the same number as the initial colonies but is also a number of symbolism. At the top of the Pyramid is the all seeing eye.At the bottom of the Pyramid is the Latin phrase"Novus Ordo Seclorum"which means a New World Order. At the top of the Pyramid is the Latin expression"Annuit Coeptis",which means He has smiled on our accomplishments.

A closer examination of the Pyramid reveals an interesting feature. In the front of the Pyramid,in what is obviously a desert, many plants are growing.Behind, the desert resumes.Could this present an analogy by the founders of the flowering of a new way of life?

To the right is the Eagle, holding 13 laurel leaves in his right hand and 13 arrows in the left.To me ,it is significant that the Eagle looks towards the laurel leaves.Walk softly but carry a big stick(13 arrows).

What is that above the head of the Eagle? !3 stars arranged in the form of a Pythagorean Tetrakys. This is the considered the creative center of the Universe from which all things emerge.

The Founders of the United States were far more trancendant than normally realized.Their knowledge of Greek and Egyptian trancendance lore,as reflected on the Great Seal, shows their scholarly attempt to reconstruct an order of new initiation.

Do you see other things?

Bubba,

I think many of the early settlers of this country and even through the late 1800's were much better classical scholars than we are today. Even the common man had a better vocabulary than most people today. The spoken word was more prevalent since books were costly and the number of people who could read was less than the number who couldn't.

To answer your first question, yes there were pyramids in America before the settlers came. They were gone before the first Europeans arrived. The Indians living in the upper Ohio and Mississippi River valleys built pyramids. While they certainly were not a match for the stone ones created by the Mayans and Aztecs, they were certainly pyramids.

Many of the writers and early leaders of this country were Freemasons. That society has many secret symbols and signs and there are many who believe that some of those were used in the seal. Some scholars even believe that certain items in the Constitution have a symbolic menaing that we have lost.

Interesting topic.

Hey Bubba,

I thought you lawyers concentrated on denominations larger than singles!

Like Kitty, I've always heard that most of these symbols are Masonic in

origin. Here are a couple of deep-but-brief explanations:

Franklin, Adams,Jefferson,Sir Francis Bacon and even Pythagorus were believed to be intiated parties of the Masonic doctrine or it's equilvalent. The forerunner of the Mason Doctrine is actually believed to have originated in the Far East(Tibet) way before the establishment of any thing resembling religion.

I think they are clouds "parting to show a new constellation in the heavens".

Could be a smoke ring, though.

I always thought the best idea was the 13 laurel leaves and the 13 arrows. That in itself, sends a stong message.

The only thing Bubba reads is "Gater Growl" which is some rag I think is about touch football at some inept Division IV school in the Florida backwoods. This topic must have come to him while he was meditating during his Bikram yoga class.

The weight of lies will bring you down / And follow you to every town / Cause nothin happens here

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from

Cause lies don't need an aero plane / To chase you anywhere
