Anti-Stress 2000

Featured Replies

Joe,

Not to knock the effectiveness of Anti-Stress 2000,as I have no idea whether their claims of helping with cold tolerance works or not?

Any recently opened/new frond is going to be more suseptable to cold than a frond that has open and the leaflets are fully formed and hardened off. So the comparison between the two fronds is hard to make, just on the basis of spraying one ,and not the other with Anti -Stress. This happens alot down here in central Florida, things are all warm and toasty, palms opening spears, then a cold blast hits, depending on the temps the newly open spears get burned /fried while the previous spears that have opened and hardened off are fine!

Anyway thought it was something to consider in your equation. :)

Thanks, Scott, for pointing that out...

I never considered that the new fronds were more tender than the olders ones and did not put it into the equation. I wish I had sprayed some and left others as a control though...That would have been a good test.
