Last Saturday night at my sisters 50th birthday party the theme was "splash of red". Nothing like an opportunity to drag out one of my specials.

How's everyone's aloha attire looking these days ?

That's my older brothers in these pics (and a sister in law)

Mambo is a surf wear company that used many images created by Reg Mombassa , who is really Chris O'Doherty , one of the founding members of the great band 'Mental as Anything' .. Much of the artwork is surreal with many true aussie icons ,, and one of the very weird ones is a stripped dog with explosive excrement ... 'poo-shooter'.

He has recently been interviewed on 'Talking Heads' on ABC TV , and mentioned his new band 'Dog Trumpet' .

There is a fantastic coffee table art book with many of his best pictures worth buying .

People don't get it... when you are in the tropics, you are forever in summer mode, hence the aloha shirt. This is one of the 'loud' shirt that Scott wears. He has brighter one than this, but I can't find photos. We took too many of kids photos these days...

Michael,

Scott loves the one with hibiscus & heliconias... Where do you get that from?

Wal,

Did you buy a gecko darwin shirt when you were here??? You have to get one of those!!!!

Regards, Ari :)
