OK, our city has a weed abatement patrol for vacant lots and I have 2 vacant lots next to me, So I'm an easy target whilst driving by, so it's gotta be done. Now that I passed another inspection on the home, I can relax and concentrate on this.......

I (YOU) fought the LAW ,but the LAW won!

I probably didn't word that right. I don't own the 2 lots next to me. If I did own them, you would probably see a lot more palms planted because they would be far enough from the house to be safe.

They apparently will cite anyone they want. <_<

What weeds? The problem is in your thinking and terminology, not your technique. You are showing us a perfect image of sustainable biodiverse plantings aimed at creating habitat for beneficial organisms. Call it permaculture and all the problems go away!

OK,OK....I've bit my tongue long enough! Your killing me with all those weeds.

Bill, come on. What do you think you'll find?????? I think you'll find more species of "weeds" in your yard than all the known species of palms in the world. Don't make me fly out there with a case of Round-up and my back pack sprayer. Because I will. Start planting some more palms......pleeeeeeeeez! :)

BS,

I'm trying real hard to see any weeding done between the before and after?Looks like instead of weeding you just moved the palms!

1) from the porch (concrete ,brick, patio) to the yard or

2) from the yard to the porch (concrete ,brick, patio)

is that weeding?

One of these days you will need a chainsaw, crane, and a flatbed truck to haul off those "weeds". Of course, you could get some money at the nearest sawmill for them.

I'm sure you're kidding, but just in case your not, the "after" pic ended up being the first, the second pic is the "before" pic. Now, realizing that, look dead center of the pic. If you squint, you'll see a Jubea about 16" across, "under" the power pole. Also, those 4 pots "now" in the middle, weren't moved, they were under the weeds! :D
