I have been curious about bamboo clothing, so I just bought a Bamboo shirt from Duluth Trading Co. Talk about comfortable. I may have to move away from my super comfortable Columbia fishing shirts to these. Same FOM cooling panel design, but the fabric is even more comfortable.

I have a bamboo shirt and it feels really good against my skin.

Next time I need to buy sheets, I am going for the bamboo sheets. I think they may give my cotton ones a run for the money!

Interestingly enough, one of the t-shirt vendors here in Palm Beach County is now offering bamboo tees and yoga wear.

And Keith, I love Duluth Trading Company! Sort of like what Banana Republic was before it got all citified! I still have A safari jacket I bought 20 years ago from them! Their catalogs were great and they didn't have but the one store in California. Now it is just another yuppie store with high-priced clothes.

Bamboo cloth?

Sorta like stone cloth, to me at least . . . .

How about some pictures?

Same initial thought I had Dave. This stuff feels somewhere between cotton and satin. Naturally moisture wicking and anti-bacterial, so in the humid high temp south you don't stink, as much :-)

Being in the shirt decorating business, I have noticed lots of different types of material being used. I see cotton as the biggest, of course, and cotton/polyester blends next. 100% poly cloth is booming in popularity as it is being woven as wicking, anti bacterial and UV resistant. Way down the list is silk, certified organic cotton, hemp and bamboo. These are observations in what people buy by the dozens and hundreds. When people buy onesies and twosies they are more likely to get more exotic.

Keith, can you give me specifics on this bamboo shirt? Manufacturer and style number? It sounds like a nice product.
