I know this is old news but I found a website with lots of arial photos of the 35w bridge that collapsed in Minneapolis 08-01-2007.

13 people died.

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm not that good with the camera but I'll try to take some pictures of my area.

I'll take some pictures during our move to FL probably late summer also.

Hi Kris,

The bridge that collapsed was on a main Interstate in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 140,000 vehicles traveled across it daily.

It collapsed from a design flaw. (undersized gusset plates) they are steel plates that connect the steel girders.

The picture below is what it looked like in 2006, It's an 8 lane Hwy and the deck is 115 ft to the river.

It fell at 6:05pm during rush hour traffic.
