Paul,

That is quite a collection of boots. And they have some obvious wear too. You must have been really into it at one time.

Thanks for the boot tour.

Anyone else out there with a fine pair of Cowboy boots to show off.

Or and of course, being in Louisiana, a pair of high rubber di-electric boots, and a pair of white rubber boots, the latter are typically used by fisherman on the Louisiana coast, particuarly shrimpers. They are made from much softer rubber than normal rubber boots, and are known here as "Cajun Nikes."

Keith,

When I lived in NOLA, the folks just south of town called these boots, Jean Lafitte Reeboks!

OK, this thread can't die yet. There are too many undisclosed boots out there.

Of course I thought of this as I sat here surfing tonight and looked down at my incredibly comfortable Kangaroos realizing that I had not yet taken them off, even at this late hour.

Ouch, they need a good oiling, don't they. Well, they are probably 5 years old, so cut me some slack.

damn , I spent hours searching all my pics trying to find one of my old bright red pointy toe boots . I had them custom made by an old greek guy in Melbourne . And wore them out partying for many years . Took them on my big trip to USA .

Only recently sold them on ebay as my tired old feet seemed to get bigger and it was to much of a struggle getting them on , and a bit to flash for old Tully town . Just got some good old T-Boots , and some gumbies .. really want a pair of ....

Golden Gumboots .. they may be on the market one day ,,

"T-Boots , and some gumbies .. really want a pair of .... Golden Gumboots .." - What are these? Put up some pictrures please. I am interested in the non standard American fare, like the boots Don put up from Brazil.

I always liked these boots along with the toothpaste, dirty longjohns and evil clown makeup :hmm:

I have a pair of "cape buffalo" skin boots........can't tell if they are any different from regular cow skin. My preferred boot is a flip flop.........unless at a rodeo.

Stopped at a redlight today, looked over and saw this. Reminded me of the boots thread. Oh, and the Mulate's sign reminded me of Bubba and Dave.
