Aaron, Thanks for the kind words. The most recent pic I have of the mystery is from about 1 month ago right after it shed a leafbase. It was pure white powder and had the most intense purple trunk ring that the camera did not do justice .

I always seem to leave something off the list . I was looking things over today and noticed that I still have some 2 gal. Dypsis Onilahensis left. These sell for $25. Also I still have some Horridus left. These are VERY blue bulletfroof cycads growing in full sun. I got these years ago for a good price and I'm passing it along. Come and get em .

Well, I'm down to only 2 Khaya Nyasica Mahogany trees now! These are the same Mahogany trees in the African exhibit at the San Diego Zoo which they bought from me. These make a stunning canopy tree with new flushes of bright red growth a couple times a year. Believe it or not I still have some Encephalartos Horridus left but not for long at these prices. Aaron, Glad to here your sis liked her new gift and what a great brother to get his sister a 5 gal. Horridus! I have not been able to infect my family or my neighbors for that matter. My 2 houses to my right went for the low maintenance concrete jungle look and my neighbor to my left is into the drought tolerant trip with NO palms or cycads. Thats funny about your wife as mine is the same way...you know all palms are the same . You have a great family and they were real sports to put up with my 3 dogs. Yer welcome over anytime!

Nick, Thats the one. I actually advised her to plant it in the back yard due to the theft issue. I have not been able to get her into palms yet, but she is into succulents and native plants so cycads will fit in perfect. That is my mom down the street from my sister. I have probably given her 15 plus palms/cycads and am going to get her a bunch more. Her back yard is starting to look amazing with probably as many palms as I have in mine. You should ask her for a tour next time you are at work. Aaron

I have had alot of people call me lately asking about my Encephalartos Horridus and Lehmanii. I have sold about half of my stock but I still have some nice ones to choose from. These are bulletproof plants that have been in full sun since seedlings! With this warm weather many are throwing flushes right now. You will not beat these prices anywhere...if you find them cheaper let me know and I'll buy them . So come and get em while I still got em .

We also have 1 gal. of Syagrus Abreojos and Chatham Island Rhopalostylis offspring of Pogo Bobs fattys. The Syagrus Abreojos IMO is one of the most beautifull Syagrus there is. The Chatham island has one of the fattest crownshafts I have seen on a Rhopie. These plants are priced to sell at $10 each.

Burt, It surprises me too but everybody seems to want the blues . I almost hope it does'nt sell because if it does'nt it's going in the ground this next spring! This is a very old plant I grew from a seedling. First $300 takes.
