Neofolis 10 Report post Posted February 1, 2007 Great pictures Kris, you obviously have no shortage of plants. The "pink sisters" plant in post 123, I assume is a Cordyline cultivar, it doesn't look dissimilar to one of the plants I purchased recently, although somewhat larger than mine. Kathy & sunny_this is the lady whom i admire the most in the whole world Love, Kris. You are a good man, Kris. What does your Mom think of all your palms? How about some photos of her standing next to your favorites?
Kris 1,365 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 Dear Jeff Hey i have exhausted almost all the grown up specimens of palms.and some of the palms are preety small either in small barrels or in mineral water bottle.it will certainly take a while for those to put up minium few leaves. and i have even asked the local nurseries to inform me if any new & nice grown up specimens arrive at there place_ the stocks usually come from Kerala,Banglore & hydrabad. I want some time to fullfill your wish_my friend ! Dear Kathy She is bit fussy to pose for the camera ? reason she cannot digest the truth that she is growing old.i think women folks should understand her psycology ! but as and when i get an oppurtunity,i will certainly ask her to stand near the palm.as for her taste she likes, lilly, jasmine, all the flowering_except huge trees that would include even massive palms. but does not interfear with my taste & desires in palm collection.for that matter she insists to come along with me whenever i go to priviate nurseries.since she could see all the flowering plants there.and hibiscus also happens to be here favouriate. her most favouriate palm will be Areca palms, dypsies & the livistonia under which iam standing all were planted by her when i was say14 or 15 years kid. And iam posting in this thread even other plants because i get an oppurtunity to get plant I.D,so that it will help me do some tagging on them. And Jeff,Clayton and other nursery guys i really miss you guys if you are my neighbour all i have to do is give you my list of palms to you and just pay the bill & carry the palms to my home_how simple is that ? Thanks & Love to all, Kris.

Fred Zone 10A 15 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 this is a dawrf variety plant that has bloomed lately here is a still of this beautiful plant_ That's oleander, which is widely planted in Southern California. The leaves, flowers, etc. are poisonous. I had five very large ones along my driveway. Last spring I had them removed (they had to grind the stumps) so I could plant palms!
