JohnAndSancho 361 Report post Posted November 23, 2020 I found the smallest string of LED lights I could find and threw them on the Washy on my patio. Totally wish I wore gloves when I did this.
Palmarum 2,334 Report post Posted November 24, 2020 It works. I have done the same thing many times, mostly in my front yard just to get people to stop and stare at a Palm tree with Xmas lights. I used to color code them to try and show off the color at night, i.e. a Blue Latania, Latania loddigesii, with just blue bulbs, a Bismarck Palm with just white bulbs, a Red Sealing Wax Palm, C. renda, with red bulbs. When the Bismarck Palm got larger, I would wrap the trunk with countless strands making them super condensed, made it too bright to look at.
