Trachycarpus seeds

Hi,

New to trachycarpus ( windmill palm ) growing, I just got some seeds what are your thoughts on soaking the seeds I see some say soak for 24 hrs others say soak for 3 days, what works best ?

Some don't even soak them at all and just put them in the ground (Banana Joe).  I usually soak any seeds I get for a day or two before I sow them, perhaps out of habit, but it does help dissolve any germination inhibitors that might still be on the seed.
