Pearl Harbor Attack book

I'm 77 and I remember reading a book when I was a teenager about the attack on Pearl Harbor.  It was written from the Japanese perspective.  Probably by a Japanese author.  It was so well written that by the end you were "almost" rooting for the Japanese.

I've googled and googled but can't find any books about the attack written by a Japanese author.  Am I crazy?  Did I really read that book?

Mahalo for the help.  Not sure if that's the one but I bought it for my Kindle.  I'll let you know if it's the one once I read it.

Nope, read about 1/2 and for sure it's not the one I read as a kid.  Will keep looking.
