I'm looking to buy some A. cunninghamiana in Central Florida. 1-7 gal would be ideal. I think I'm pushing the limits on where they can survive long-term so I'll need to get the hardiest variation of cunninghamiana I can find. An Inge Hoffman would be great, but I'd be very surprised to find one here... The feedback I've seen about Illawarra's hasn't been positive enough so that is the one variation I'm not particularly interested in.

Archontophoenix purpurea

Regarding my last topic, I appreciate the help in locating a nice healthy Archontophoenix alexandre! My Archontophonix purpurea was recently massacred by squirrels . I removed the cage from around it for one day, and they chewed through every petiole, defoliating it and leaving the stem very wobbly in the ground. It put out a tiny bit of green then just died. This leaves me looking for another one. A plant that is at least a foot tall would be preferred, but it does not have to be. Thank you in advance.

It appears to me that A. tuckeri likes wetness; I'd like to plant a few near a Gunnera plant, where watering happens twice every day. --Barry O.

Howydall: After Palmazon and I trashed the Tree of Lust and Desire, I need some shade for now-exposed Chambeyroneas. I'd like to get about 3 A. tuckeri in 15 gallons, preferably just forming trunk, that are at least 5-6 feet tall, if possible. I have a truck to pick up with . . . . . Anyone have any or know who does? Thanks in advance.
