I remember i saw in other topics some nice visuals of jubaeas, one of them, grown, was in an excellent yard, from a white looking hair man, maybe in S. Francisco.

Anyway, i did not find any previous topic dedicated exclusively to this palm.

Recently, as i have already posted on other topic, i bought a maybe 10 years old jubaea chilensis. I knew it is slow growing, and i made an investment, just to assure i 'll be waiting less than i would !

Furadouro and Ovar, zone 9b/10a.

Nice looking jubaea! I'm hoping to pick up a nice 20gal sized jubaea in May for my yard... enjoy yours! Jv

Looking good. Possible I'm going to plant a Jubaea to this spring in the garden here, but it's not for sure yet because they are not really cheap over here.

JV, don't mind me asking, where are you looking to get your 20gal Juaea from? I'm looking to get one also this year and with you live down in SA, I was thinking that it may be someone local (texas)

I thought I'd add my Jubea's pics.

Here are my little size 9's for scale. I'm really standing up, the palm is growing at a 90 degree angle on a wall of mulch.

At least thats what I thought, then things started getting a little blurry.. . . .

I think it was all the fresh mulch I was putting down...

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Jubaea are a very nice palm for the UK, here is mine below, this winter our coldest for 31 years was a test for it but it has come through without a blemish.
