When I first heard about the snow in Nawlins, I went right here to the board to see if you'd post snow-on-palms photos, and there they were. First hurricanes, now snow...you just can't catch a break, Keith.

You know, I decided to build these gardens 6 years ago. In that time, I have endured 5 hurricanes, 2 doughts, and now 2 snows. The only thing missing is another 80's style freeze. And it too, will probably happen in my lifetime.

But, just as anyone who has tried to build a long term garden, I will persevere. All of this builds the character of the garden and the gardener.

Well, after the chill of the 70s and 80s, it has been warmer. But I do believe it is now fixing to cool again. And let me tell you, while there might have been some negative effects to global warming, the effects of global cooling are far worse. Let a real cooling cycle begin and we will be begging people to crank up co2 emissions.
