Thats funny, I was just wondering today about how Miami compared to California and Hawaii! Thanks!!

Those are interesting numbers, to be sure. Fla has more extremes, both high and low, but it's closer to Hawaii than any other mainland location.
What does the G mean after H and C (heating degree days and cooling degree days)?
