Can anyone help me find a Sakai01 Jacaranda ?

Featured Replies

I want to try a true dwarf Jacaranda . Looking online has been frustrating . Some sites list it , but have no stock .

Places like Amazon , eBay etc list it and ready to ship , but it is very doubtful that the product is actually the Dwarf / Bonsai variety .

I questioned the AI on Amazon , and it admitted that the item(s) are most likely the standard J. Mimosifolia in a small size .

Anyone on this site know where I might find one ? Thanks

I would recommend buying one online and then having it shipped from https://www.monrovia.com/bonsai-blue-jacaranda.html They're a trusted source for this special cultivar. I have two from this company that I bought from a local retail nursery.

@Bill H2DB If you're down in the Sarasota area sometime, or don't mind making the drive I can confirm that "Your Farm and Garden" nursery on Beneva Rd in Sarasota has them. I just dropped by a few weeks ago and they had a bunch of them in stock. They are definitely the dwarf variety too, although they're pretty expensive. I believe it was $150 for a 3 gallon.

Other than that, the link provided above might point you to a dealer closer to your area for them.
