Brugmansia sanguinea

I have been experimenting with high elevation Brugmansia species, B. vulcanicola and sanguinea.  Apparently they need full sun, which is not available in my garden.  The vucanicola does flower with morning direct sun but the shrub is quite stretched out and unsightly.

I have several starts of sanguinea, currently overgrown in large plastic six-pack cells.  They should be moved up to 1 gallons, but I don't care to invest the labor.

come and get them  !!

I've been able to keep Sanguinea alive in Fresno but our problem here is they need full shade here...Sun will kill them outright, and hence are all lanky and don't bloom. Maybe I'll find a perfect spot one day, but I'm also at the end of my rope with these.

I'm growing a hybrid of vulcanicola and sanguinea (Suncrest vulsa) that wilts in direct afternoon sun, even at this time of year. It doesn't burn and is growing pretty compact, but I think it would prefer morning sun.
