Deppea grandiflora

I have grown this plant from a tiny start.  It is now 9 feet tall, in a 7 gallon pot.  The plant branches freely, so one might prune off the top in order to transport it in the vehicle

The flower is totally different from D. splendens, so much that I can't understand how the two species are in the same genus, but then, I am no taxonomist !  :mrlooney:

Last chance for the Deppea, my green waste bin is picked up each Thursday and this plant may be in it next week.

Darold, we're looking to come to the city in a few weeks. If you can hold it a bit longer I can give it a home in my new greenhouses which is set up for cool growers.
